20. Photographing People.

Photographing people does not mean that it involves making somebody's portrait only.

More often a successful people photograph is about what they do or what they are doing at the moment when they are being photographed.

It is important to capture your subjects in their natural environments; such as the children at play with their small friends or relatives, or simply with their toys.

Watch for the unusual facial expressions that convey such feelings as happiness, joy and fulfillment, understanding and trust.

Have your camera ready to capture those expressions on film, for most children do not have much patience to pose for you. Hence, you have to be quick enough to be able to capture those precious moments that do not last long.

Unusually looking subjects could become a wonderful edition to your photo-portfolio as well. Bright lighting works better than dim when photographing children at play.
